Rocky’s Orthopaedic Telehealth Clinic wins statewide award

Rockhampton Hospital’s Orthopaedic Telehealth Clinic has won a statewide award for eHealth excellence. More than 80 nominations were received in the Queensland Health eAwards, with the winners announced on Tuesday night (May 31).

Technology closes the distance for patients

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is now the biggest user of telehealth in the state. Director of Clinical Support Services Robert Forsythe said CQ Health provided 1761 telehealth sessions from 1 July 2015 to 31 October 2015; almost 25% more than in the same time period last year.
