About us

The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Board (CQHHB) and Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) were established on 1 July 2013. CQHHS provides public health services across the Central Queensland Region which includes the five local government areas of:

  • Banana Shire Council
  • Central Highlands Regional Council
  • Gladstone Regional Council
  • Livingstone Shire Council
  • Rockhampton Regional Council
  • Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council.

The CQ Health Community Hub, is a place to foster engagement between CQHHS and our consumers, community and patients. We want you to play a vital role in shaping how we design, plan and deliver our services. We also want to help you to lead a healthy lifestyle that will improve your quality of life and at the same time reduce the growing pressure on our health services.

Have a look around our site, participate in our consultations and various community sections, and let us know of anything you'd like to see on the site, or general feedback here.
